Anybody tried the performance RC packs yet?

I just ordered a pair of the 2200mah 25C packs but they got the wrong connectors on them?

Really who uses deans anymore.

That should get things started MMike.

hey T, I have three of them coming, same as yours. And yes, I still use the deans connectors. especially now that the packs come with the deans presoldered.

Personally, I will never go back to deans. To much of a pain in the butt to solder and a pain to disconnect. The EC3 connector is the way to go.

I got my packs today. The deans connector was soldered on very nice and clean, much better than I have been able to do. I still put on my colored electrical tape, more to help pull the plugins apart and also to identify them in my flight log.

The main leads coming off the pack seem to be one gauge smaller than the FMA packs, but still VERY capable. I like it better because it gives them a little bit more flexability to be tucked away in the canopy.

I want to take it easy on them for two more cycles before I run them down lower than 30-35 percent. So far I have just flown a little FF and some hovering.

Just my two cents so far.

Having fender tell me that they are the same cells as the Outrage packs, I have no doubt they will perform just like them.

Good to hear you got some more though

I will not go on and on because I am a rep so people will think my opinion is biased, but my opinion is biased because I tried the packs BEFORE I agreed to be a rep as I would not represent any product I did not 100% believe in.And the company I WAS using is a GREAT company and I had/have nothing but good things to say and they performed FLAWLESS.When I was given the opportunity to rep I waited till after I had the packs and had already tested them before I became an official rep...so take that for what its worth

I hear ya design engnr those EC3 are great. Love the way the plastic fits inside the plastic making them double shielded and the bullet connectors just have more grasp than the deans.

Ha ha your wrong I am not the only warped mind they are Align so they must be better Duh.

BTW FYI performance RC is sold out of the 25C fender sold them all his first day. I did not get mine they are on backorder and should be here in a few days. The main man Kirk took the time to personally apologize and asked what I wanted to do get a refund or wait for the packs. shivery is not dead seems to be straight up business man. I would of told him to just send me 30C for the same price but at the already low discount and free shipping I just couldn't do it to him.

As far as the quality generally speaking they are all the same. Most of the top HDTV manufacturers come out of the same china factory. Everything these days are the same just rebranded. Youll find in TV's that the program menu's are identical under 2 different name brands. I assume Lipo's are the same.

I'd rather have a Honda over a Harley anyday! When I want something Loud, Slow, and shakes itself to death, then I'll get a Harley.

There aint no deans connectors on a harley they are all more like a EC3 they are all covered almost watertight.

Deans plugs are for your Honda.

heres why I dont use deans. Not that they are bad plugs just that they can be exposed and shorted if you drop that jewelers screwdriver or hardware between the posts.

heres why I use EC3
