Friend and Fellow Modeler Richard (Dick) Dills passed away July "08" His passion was his Apache and he was finally able to enter the NATS in 2007 with it, and even without documentation being complete or being comfortable flying it, he still did a respectable job, and did place.... since then he had added more detail and was getting it ready to go again for "08", but someone had different plans for him that week....may he rest peacefully.....
With his passing, I have been asked to see if there might be some interest from the RR family.... I am sorry that I do not have all the pictures as of yet, but wanted to see what kind of interest this beautiful heli might generate.... I know that there are two radio systems in it... one to fly and one to run the all the optional equipment (guns, camera).... the mechanics are MA gasser and as stated this will be sold as it and RTF with all equipment included.. there is well over 16k invested.... I am helping a friend of the family sell this and would ask that if someone has the interest and a reasonable offer, please contact me and I will get you in touch with the person handling the final affairs. I am planning on bringing this to IRCHA next week and would hope that someone there would pick it up and give it a good home.... Sorry the info is a bit vague, but I am going by memory, but for full details just let me know... Thank you for looking.... Stan
