| Well, Sunday afternoon concluded the 3 day fun fly event. Thanks to Bill for lending us his expert chef cooking skills, and thanks to Keith for all the planning an preparation. Keith always gives 100% and is there right at 8am to open the gates for us early birds.
If I can take one thing home this weekend for a lesson learned, that would be bad things happen to those who put both their tail blades on backwards. Ask me how I know. The funniest thing is I was raving about the tail performance of my heli... until I crossed a physics and mechanical threshold and my tail was pinned in the full left thrust position. Thanks to the weeds and throttle hold I don't have much damage. I believe that makes four times I fetched my heli from the weeds. This weekend I made a permanent donation of one of my G-Force tail grips to the weeds, complete with a perfectly good 95mm carbon fiber blade. Grrr.
Here are the aftermath pictures taken from Art. Pictured below is Dr.Jeff carefully assessing the damage. He said with a little CA it could fly in five minutes. Um... I didn't follow that advice.

Why is it always one half of the fly bar is perfectly straight, and the other is mangled up??
Fly hard, crash hard. See you at the Brooks Oregon Fun Fly (with vengeance!)
