Hi,

As far as I know the engine is ready but TT are having to design a muffler as the current 90 sized muffler are not big enough. I am sure I have read somewhere that TT will also have a engine mount suitable for the R90.

Has anyone got any news on when we can expect to see this engine on the the market.

My O.S C spec needs replacing and I fancy a bit more power

I can't imagine how much bigger these mufflers are going to get. The newer Hatori's are huge as it is.

I think the real question is if the added weight from a bigger engine/muffler combo will be be negated by the added power.

I should think that the overal dimensions of the engine and weight of the muffler would be very similiar to a 90.

The change in displacement is quite a large one so I should imagine a slightley bigger muffler would be needed to let the engine breath properly. Also I think TT may have made the exhaust port a different shape to standard to aid power.

The weight issue could be totally negated by materials used in the muffler.

My Weston 50 mini pipe is half the weight of Zimmermann muffler so I am sure there is a way to keep the weight down by selected the right materials.

The big question is how much extra power and torque will then egine provide
