| Now that you have the instructions on making the changes you want, you see why this radio is much more versatile than the JR. You can't do these type things (as switching trims) on JR radios. Now, the reason that the throttle trim was opposite from the elevator trim is for both planks and helis. When you are in forward flight in idle modes, you can adjust elevator trim without having to take your right hand off the transmitter. Throttle is set and now you can adjust with that hand while still flying the model. As you have seen though, if you are not used to this, it can cause issues, especially on the ground if you have a buddy come up to help out and he doesn't understand that you have cross trims, well funny things happen.
