Ok kids, I finally got to maiden my new baby. V-bar Stratus with all the trimmings. I have been pretty nervous after reading about some of the problems some of the other guys have had with the Ultra mode. I have only hovered two tanks on it but here are my findings thus far...

1. I have a slight cyclic drift to the right. Should I use my TX or the V-stabi software to trim it out?

2. In the fore/ aft axis, there is no drift to speak of. There is however and interesting issue that I have not seen before. When I give any forward or aft cyclic the heli seems to want to continue to drive forward or aft depending on the last input given. It is very slight and totally controllable but it is there. How do I get rid of this?

3. Tail drift. This one I am pretty sure is a V-Stabi set up issue and here is why. With the governor on in Idle 1, I am running a HS of 1800. at 1800, the tail drifts nose left. In idle 2, I have 1950 and the drift is nose right.

Please tell me what other info you need to help get me sorted out. Thank you so very much.

I forgot to add that all set-up and bench trimming was done in classic mode then switched to Ultra mode for the first flight.

You're supposed to do your first flights on classic mode so you can trim it out. Do not trim on the TX, do it in the software. FLy it in classic mode, note which way it needs trim, land and do it in the software.

I'm not sure on your other issues, but on my Spectra, I didn't like the feel of Ultra Mode and went back to Extended. I can't explain it, it just didn't feel right in Ultra.
