Is it 0404729 or 414227 (This one has zero offset, don't know what that means). Looks like the 0404729 is the one.

I wonder if it is better to get the plastic blade holders instead of getting some new metal pitch arms. I had a bit of a bad landing today after the engine stopped on me far away.

Pitch Arm

If you are insterested in replaceing the pitch arms the part number is 414-304 the is the pitch arm that comes on the SSZ-III head. I had to replace one of mine, I had to get Jeff Green to help me with this.
The 414-227 are for the SSZ-II head an the 404-729 ore for the EX-II.If you will go to MRCs webb page an put these nmbers in the serch box, it will tell you what they are for. You may can use one of the others but it will change your pitch.
The 414-227 does have an off set an the 404-729 moves the pivot ball out from the head a good bit. I ordered the 414-227 an the 404-729.

I am wondering if its not better to get the plastic grips this time. They seem to come with the bearings for around $21 per grip. Maybe I am mistaken, but it looks like that in the EVO manual.

Blade Grips.

Yes the plastic grips come with bearings,I dont think they come with the thrust bearing though. But the bearing out of the metal grip will work.I do understand where you are comming from. I have two SSZ-III metal heads on my Freyas an one with the metal yoke an plastic grips.

Good. It's a better deal then to get the plastic grips. The thrust bearings I'll have to get seperate.

Anyone know if you can get some good quality bearings for a better price than from Hirobo?

Bearings

Ron's has the thrust bearings 25000-91 for $21.38 for a pack of two. There are some post on here about some other bearing at a better price. Dont about quality though.
