I am new to the heli's My question is that the DX7 VS the XP7202
Is the main differance that the DX7 is a 2.4? same body dtyle of radio. I am not sure which radio to purchase.

Effectively correct. The DX7 is based on the 7202/2720/378. A few minor changes as well..... the 7202 uses a synth frequency based transmit board where the system prompts you to confirm channel selection. The DX7 uses the standard Spektrum RF board for 2.4 GHz.

Go with the DX7 or you'll quickly be wondering why you didn't. There's no point in getting a 72 MHz radio these days.

Same radio except the DX7 has a flight timer. Go with the DX7 you will be happier in the long run. And yes I have had both..
