Radio - JR & Spektrum DSM > Question on JR 921 2.4 Receiver

Hello

I just bought a JR X9303 2.4 TX and have a question about the R921 Receiver. When I bind it with the remote receiver attached it works fine. If I disconnect the remote receiver the receiver will bind according the the lights on the receiver but the servos will not move. Plug the secondary receiver in and the servo's work again. If I then pull the secondary receiver while the servos are working and the receiver is still powered on they will continue to work fine.

Is this normal?

That is normal. The Spektrum RXs won't work properly if you power them up without the remote RX. If you power it up with the remote RX connected and then unplug it, the RX continues to work. This is so it can lose signal from the remote RX in flight and still continue to operate the model.

Ok just wanted to make sure it was working.

Thanks for the info,

Rick
