| Hello Scalers
Last weekend I bought a older Hirobo Cobra, the heli was testflown with good result but some minor mods are have to be done like changing the fuel tubes, put a modern gyro in etc,but what worries me is that i have small play in the tail rotorshaft, when holding it i can pull it in and out about 1mm from the gearbox, this is a older cobra from the middle of the nintees and it isnt that much flown so just wonder if you guys that been in the scaling for a while would consider this as a "normal" play for a old heli like this or should I be worried,I dont have a plan or a manual but seems like to take the tailbox apart is huge job due the flexwire that are running thru the fuse to the tailgearbox, also reason for asking is that i know that some older machines had a play here and there but still was flying good, what I mean is that technologily some older machines wasnt that good like today in their construction and material but still was 100% flewable. Ps. when I say gearbox I mean the GB that are on the highest position on the tailfin.
