Hi,

Just about to order up a module for my 14mz and need a rx for my mini titan, looked at the Futaba site and they have these two listed,

R607FS 7-Channel Receiver

R617FS 7-Channel Receiver

whats the difference ? the specs are excatly the same

Has the P-R606FS/2.4G been discontinued ?

So really I need the 617, that's why 607 seems to be out of stock everywhere over here ?

anyone know who has the 617's in stock in the UK ?

Oh and how does the 14 feel/balance out with the 2.4module ?

It balances fine, but I don't use neck straps.

While R617FS has enough channels for most heli flyers, to get the full 2048 resolution you really want the R608FS. It makes the heli feel more like R6014FS, and the difference is noticeable.

The 607 was discontinued and replaced with the 617. Sources say it was an internal components change and Futaba had to change the number due to this change.

ok i've ordered a 617 for the mini titan, should I have gone for the 608 then ? I know the 617 has enough channels but is the 608 that much better ?

I have the 617 in my Trex 450, two 8 channels in a R50 and a Avant and a 14 channel in a Knight 50 3D.

There is a noticeable difference between the 1024 (6 channel)and the 2048 in the 8/14 channel receivers. It's not that big of a difference, and I didn't think it was warranted to demand 2048 resolution out of a mini-heli.
