I am about to in stall a carb smart on my Rap 90 3D. I have a fair idea how I am going to do it but would be interested in any photos any one would have of both the sensor installed on a 91 szh or how the servo is mounted on the heli

Hi, heres my setup. I used the optional fan shroud adaptor that comes with the 90se. Simple and effective. The sensor was put in the first fin space on the head. It was a snug fit and I used ATV silicon.

The first picture is not so clear... I installed the throttle needle servo using a Hitech mounting servo.

carbsmart mount

hi there,,,,here i made my own mount from a piece of carbon i had hangin around......use the bottom servo tray screw to mount it in place.........hope it works out for u....happy flyin regards helinelly

Thanks guys. Jim, I found your article on RR a while ago and my plan was to pretty much do just like you did,and I think that is what I will still do. I was courious to see what other methods people had come up with.

I have about 50 flights per ship since converting to carbsmart so far with zero problems. I love not messing with tuning!
