I've noticed the last heli on Phoenix was the Hirobo Sceadu. This came out quite a while ago, if you think that they were almost one a month at one point.

I would like to see a Huey Turbine. I can't see why they've not done one? It's a very popular heli and well covered by the manufactures, so why no Phoenix sim model

That was a silly place to put the ground !

I might be as simple as no one has requested one. Shoot them an email and see what they say. They may also be tied up working on the next great release.

If the wings are traveling faster than the fuselage, it's probably a helicopter.

I sent them a mail months ago, they just ignored me They used to reply very quickly to the odd question I had when they first came out.

That was a silly place to put the ground !

Apparently "something big is in the works" and they cant release many/any new models until it is complete due to software changes.

That said, I also heard a T-Rex 700 was being released as an exception "very soon".

Do we know if this 'something big' will still work with the software we curently use?

That was a silly place to put the ground !

Hi,

I am about to order Phoenix and I see you mention an update. Are updates free or would it be better for me to wait until they release it?

I currently own XTR which is sometimes giving me hard time and their updates used to be "free" but give what you want until they released a new version...

Thanks,
Chris

Phoenix updates and new models are all free downloads. If you want to buy it, there is no real benefit to waiting (unless they change a policy).

Great sim, buy now, enjoy it, get the updates the day they come out for free.

Thank you for your feedback.
I am going to order online since there do not seem to be any resellers in the US. It is probably going to take a while to get here.

Thanks,
Chris

From my understanding (I got mine from Amain when they had them) ordering direct for US shipment is the only way to go right now, but they are actually pretty fast. I'm sure somebody on here can tell you. I ordered an airtronics adapter so I wouldn't have to take my DX7 to Iraq and I think it got here in about 5 days.
