It's never too early for some fantasy football. Preseason is right around the corner.

I've created a league on ESPN.com.
I'm trying to theme it around RC Helicopters.
members from the rc helicopter forums are welcome to join the league.



The draft date is yet to be determined. I think after or during the pre season should be a good time to run the draft, so you'll get a better feel for the players you're picking.


If you're serious and want to play, let me know. This should be a good time.

It's free. I looked into the one at NFL.com (which IMO is the best) but it is not free, unfortunately.

Currently we have about 10 teams in this league (some pending w/ recent invitations). My goal is to have 20 teams, but at this point I'm not so sure that will happen.

I'd like to see at least 16 teams. Fantasy Football leagues work well with about 14-16 teams.

We have 10 teams right now.
12 would be better
16 would be awesome, 20 teams would be perfect!

Hell, if we could get 30 teams, we'll break it up into divisions. That would be a ton of fun.

There is a month of preseason before the real NFL season starts. Perhaps in the weeks to come, interest will pick up a little bit, and we can get ourselves a LEAGUE!

I want to keep this league within the RC Heli community (similar as to if it was in the workplace). It makes "bragging rights" more meaningful, and "talking smack" a lot more fun.

Everyone in the league received an email today about this.
the draft is scheduled for (edit, Thursday, August 28, 9:15pm eastern.) in the wee hours of the morning. Make sure you are satisfied with your player rankings following the week 3 Monday Night game with San Diego vs. Seattle.

This also gives each team a week for signing free agents, and trading players if they're not 100% happy with their draft picks.

Also, don't forget pile a few Team D/ST (Defense, Special Teams).
Defense will affect scores.

There is a message board on our fantasy league page. I posted this info on there as well.

Auto Drafts absolutely SUCK!

Put on a regular draft and let the people who want to be there be there and the people that don't will autodraft.

I can't use my "Trade Secrets" if we autodraft! lol
