I got my ship up to do some final adjustments and right off the bat I felt that this machine responds 100x faster than my Raptor..

I like a slower but agile feel. Would moving the ball on the seesaw in a hole from center numb it up a tiny bit?

Instead of adjusting the macnine try adjusting the EXPO in the TX. It will make the center stick a bit softer and when you go full stick up have all the speed and throw of your servos. I have a EXPO in mine set at 30%. This makes for very easy hovering and forward flight. when I flip or anything like that my servos return to full speed and I get that slower but agile feel your talking about.

you can always use ATVs to bring down the responsive feel. You will need to run Expo around center. I run 30%. If you ship flips and rolls to fast for you can move the ATVs on the ALE and ELE to 95%. I would use a pitch gage and check your ALE and ELE pitch. (Make sure your collective is at Zero.) I think a raptor is 7-8 degrees. If your Synergy is 11 degrees i can see why you want to slow it down. I would set it to 9 degrees and try it there. If you use ATVs in the radio you can easy go back or add more at the feild to your likeing. Just my two cents.

I did dial in some Expo

I usually don't use any more than 10 on any machine... I have about 30 in this to make it softer..

I was going to put it through the paces at the fun fly but I have to admit I was intimidated by it so I put it up and flew the raptor 50 and 90.

I like what I have seen so far. It feels like its 5lbs lighter in the air.

30 is ok.
You will get more used to the machine after 10 and 20 flights.
You then could go back to 10%. You could handle it.
It IS very responsive.

Also consider dropping head speed to 1750 or so. Both the Expo and slower head speed greatly improve the docility of the beast.

I run between 20-30 expo and 1750 on the head. Pitch and Cyclic are all maxed without binding.

The heli is much easier to fly like this. Need more action, ramp up the headspeed on Idleup3.

Good luck.
