Anyone know if there is cheap Milk Bottle canopy available for the aurora. Just hate the thaught of stuffing an expensive composite canopy every time.

You could try butchering a Freya Canopy?
They do fit the Avant (after trimming)

i'm sure if there's a demand, companies like Marrvikk will make them, however, are we really even thinking about putting a heavy plastic canopy on the hobby's sweetest, newest heli?

Man that's ugly, the Aurora deserves nothing else than its own canopy... Full stop.

WTF

That thing looks like a 1985 strech limo with that on it. But guess it will work for test flying till you get your Aurora canopy painted huh.

Well I think I can fly it..............UH OH OOPS heres your heli.

I just dont like the idea of being out $100+ for a canopy every time i crash. I also dont like the idea of having to worry about it while I'm trying riskey things or just having fun. The Trex 600 has both fiberglass and plastic and its nice to have both. They will likely do the same for the 700.

Yes, there is a demand if the supply is there. Kind of backwords I know but it's true.

If your crashing alot it might be a good idea to set the Aurora aside and pound away with the T600. Crashing is for the simulator when learning new moves or bringing it down super low for the first times. One thing that has kept my crashing down to a lower number is not trying new things with my "flagship" heli. Especially a 90.

To me flying with a milk carton canopy is silly, just to save 100 bucks. One of the most famous things I ever heard when it comes to RC heli's and this hobby is this. "Most have heard this before"

You want to get into this hobby and enjoy it to it's fullest? New person who's interested usually responds with, "Yea why what do I gotta do?" Heli pilot responds back with, "Go take 100 bucks and flush it down the toilet!" If that really bothers you, then this hobby aint for you!

A plastic canopy is cool, but not for this type of heli of this caliber. I agree with the above sentiments, instead of trying to cheap out a Aurora, just fly a cheaper helicopter. If you just have to be the envy of everyone at your field by owning a Aurora, then ya gotta pay.
