Last sunnday i went for my first solo without trainer cord.
Now today i started doing my figure 8's and tryed some loops and roles.
For awile now ive ben doing minnie auto's 6-25 feet up well that came to an end today steve walked up beside me and started to instruct me that it was time to learn how to do a full auto from about 100+ feet well lets just say after that first one thay were adictive the first 4-5 were realy scarry but after learning that i can bail out of one gone not so good there not that bad after all.
If you havent leared how yet get with someone that is good at them and learn once you get threw the first couple it gets easier and thay realy are fun.
Thanx Steve.

Good job. I haven't done any real autos yet. But I just got Phoenix RC Sim and I'm starting to learn on that. There is a guy at the field who is awsome at autos. Cool watching it in real life. Someday, if I have the nerve, I'll try one for real. Just hope I don't need to do one before I'm ready.

Just have to say, no matter what your skill level, the sims today are just amazing. I have heard so many stories about guys who practiced autos on the sim and never did them for real until an engine quit and they were able to land without any damage at all, or at least VERY little damage. If it wasn't for the sims, many of these stories would be different. Then again, they may not have been flying at all if not for the sims.
(I was one of the really nervous guys afraid of breaking something so I never flew until I got a simulator and got comfy with that)
