Hey guys, was hoping for some inputs on wiring options when using a Reactor X on the 700N.

Originally I was hoping to put the Reactor X and the RX on the bottom, but the lead from the Elev servo would not reach. So I was hoping to get both the RX and the Reg on the top, but there was not enough room.

So since my wires came out at the top, this forced me to put the reg on the top. Problem was, I could not put the RX on the bottom because the wires from the reg to the RX were not long enough. So I opted to put the RX in the open area on the right side of the electronic box.

I was able to get the multi gov in the open area on the left side like others have done.

So I ended up not even using the large area on the bottom of the electronics box. I guess I could put the battery there.

Anyway, if you have a Reactor X, how did you place the electronics???

I thought about turning them sideways like that so they would fit, but I didn't like the fact that you couldn't get a strap around them.

Are you comfortable not having a strap around them?

If you saw the stae of my heli after the crash you'd have noticed that the rx and the reg had not moved!

I check the mounting before and after each session. Lets face it, they are not under stress, the cables are secured leaving a bit of slack so they do not pull. They are not subjected to exhaust smoke/residue etc.

Lets face it, your sat rx and gyro are not strapped in!

But I don't use velcro mounts, I use zeal vibration absorption sheet

Did you use velcro for the RX and Reg or foam tape?

The reason I like to strap is that I use velcro for everything except the gyro.

Yes I saw the pics of your crashed bird. Sorry to see that.

Only problem is that the nitro will eat away at the tape over time. I don't fly anything unless I can find a way to get a strap around it, just extra security for me and don't have to check it all the time.

Let your flying do the talking - don't talk about your flying
