I decided to dust off the video camera yesterday to film some flying. I started flying heli's a year ago so I'm working to expand my bag of tricks but this is what I have so far... My girlfriend is behind the camera but she did a pretty good job at keeping it in the frame I wanted the video quality to be a little better but I am not real good with video compression yet so I'm still trying to figure out the best way without having the file size too large.

Anyway, enjoy! Let me know what you think!

If the wings are travelling faster than the fuselage, it's probably a helicopter

Thanks guys (she says thanks too ). My 600 has the Align pipe on it, sure is loud but it makes good power. Hopefully switching to the MP5SB soon.

Very nice, Wing19. That was a very fun and entertaining flight you did. Nice save, by the way! Good tuning on the engine as well; sounds good and steady. It sure looks the the Trex is treating you well. I absolutely love mine and did about half my learning on it. My Trex450 took the brunt at first. Since I installed JR8717 servos things have been even more fun.

Thanks Sam! I do like the Rexy a lot, it is running great with the help of the carbsmart. I haven't been flying it much lately actually because I have a Synergy N9 and its hard to go back to 50 size after the 90 sometimes My N9 was down since I was having engine troubles and fried it but it is back up now. I want to get a video with the N9 once it gets broken in again.

Sweet heli fleet. Now all you need is a Protos 500 electric heli and you will be rip roaring in all three heli size classes.

Nice wings

I give you props man your style is just like mine, smooth and efficient Well your further along than me, im at the stage where I can comfortably go inverted and am pretty efficient in backwards flight. Now Im trying to adjust my throttle curves to give me a little better flip because mine looses to much headspeed. My curve right now is 100 75 65 75 100. Whats yours?

Thanks RaptorMan

I love the way nice smooth transitions look as well as making every maneuver deliberate and in control. A lot of guys who don't fly heli's think they appear to be out of control sometimes; but I've had a couple guys at my field tell me that even though the maneuvers can be fast and unpredictable to spectators, they could tell I was well in control the whole time. Sim time is key

We can't really fly in the winter here so all winter I was on my sim a lot, it has a lot to do with my progression.

As for the throttle curves, I let my GV-1 worry about that

Thanks, I don't use stickers on my blades. I am using Radix 600SB blades, they have white tips.
