When installing the magnet for the sensor onto the plastic fan should I use a CA glue or epoxy or does it matter?

I know it’s a newbie question but I value your opinions when it comes to this hobby, relieves me of any doubt. ty in advance.

I would use Epoxy. CA will probably come loose too easy.

Put a drop or two of epoxy in the hole, install the magnet, then cover the magnet and fan with a very thin film of epoxy. Not too thick though, or it will hit the sensor. That's how I do it.

I would suggest a metal fan though. Plastic fans tend to warp and toss magnets.

+1 epoxy.

also use denatured alcohol to clean prior to, for a strong adhesion.
