Was wondering if i could use an e-flite 480 brushless outrunnwe (910kv model) in my trex 450. It mounts up fine, but would it work. I am not sure if the motor would pull to many amps. Any advise would be great. Would the kv be to low? Tks

the Kv is too low as the average motor for the trex runs in the 3000Kv or more.

your head speed will be to low and finding a pinion to make up will be difficult.

nice motor by the way...can fly a 2 pounder plank with no issues. I have the same but with 1020Kv.
