I can hear a loud noise comeing form the engine it has a curtis young blood mp5 . I started to notice it becouse every flight the heli got louder. Please Help!

Odds are it's your bearing. Sounds raspy?

How many flights/how old? Mine went after 11 gallons of fuel which seems fairly average.

I have nerves of steel but thumbs of jelly!

My vote is still the engine bearing. What type of noise is it? I assume nothing is loose (muffler etc).

I have heard of them going straight away and they can get loud. A friend of mine has one that's on it's way out and as I walked to the flight station I could hear the bearing before I could hear the exhaust noise.

I have nerves of steel but thumbs of jelly!

While its idling stick a plastic handled screw driver on the case near where the rear bearing is (right where the case gets fat) and listen to the handle. You will hear it if its the bearings.

I just replaced the bearings in my OS50hyper for the first time.... rattle gone. The location of the sound was puzzling as it sounded as though it could be coming from the clutch bell. I rattling/ringing sound. Barracuda's suggestion of using a tool "stethoscope" works very well for pinpointing the the source of the noise.
