I wonder if theres ANY of you out there using the PJ with A123s?

This ESC almost makes me snap

I HAVE had several successfully flights with this combo, suddenly (after a day of with fresh batteries) the rpm goes wide open from 1400rpm to 1650 on my Maxi Joker 2.

It doesnt react to any adjustments on the throttle curve, still 1650rpm no matter if i set the thr curve to 40% or 70%.

I have now twice double checked the program card, and gone through the whole setup process twice, also the stick poss, everything appears to be normal.

But when switching on and apply throttle it goes wide...

Can someone PLEASE help me out here before i have to send this up in the air with a big dynamite in it

Yeah, thats why im looking for others with a123s to confirm possible similar problems, but when thinking about it, it shouldnt have anything to with the batteries.

I mean, if the ESC doesnt react to any adjustments on the THR curve, it must be something else, do you agree?

Im soooo close to have a perfect flight every time im going out, annoying that i cant solve the issues once and for all

My settings are the same as in the bottom post here:

I wonder, "Timing/rpm" what does this actually control?

Mine is set to Auto...

Timing adjusts the timing of the motor. auto is good. I know you use fixed stick settings, I just use auto for that too. Is the rpm change during flight, or with a new battery?

No change during flight.

The only thing i noticed on the "last pack" before the problem got permanent, was that the rpm dropped distinctively about 50 rmp just before takeoff.

I mean, i spooled it up waited 30 secs or so, applied pitch, then just before the last input on the pitch before it left the ground i noticed that dropping, nothing else in the air...

Could this have a connection to my problem you think?
