Blades, Night Flying and Painting > Krylon clear - opinions?

I'm looking to clear a canopy, but don't want to go through the automotive 2 part clear hassles.

Anyone have any experience with the Krylon clears?
They have:
Krystal clear
Krystal clear triple thick
UV clear

Anyone use them with any success?

Thx

Clears..

I have used most of them and they work okay...look okay...but none of them EVER really have the same glossy/smooth and "deep" look like the 2 part Auto clears...

Pete...one of my local buddies got a spray can (2 part internal mix) at an auto parts store(Autozone I think) and it looks as nice as a true auto clear...apparently he used like 5 or 6 layers but it looks awesome...

I am going to get some for myself...

Your power source matters:

If nitro, then krylon paint is NOT the way to go. The stuff isn't fuel proof.

If you're using nitro, you have to use a 2-part paint. There's automotive clear (but it's dangerous stuff if you don't take proper precautions). There's a 2 part hobby acrylic that's fuel proof as well - I've not used it though, but some swear by it.
