I can find quite a few 700 threads with owners waiting for missing parts as well. Along with shims that don't fit, ball links breaking in flight, crash parts no where to be found, etc... While I'm flying my Aurora this weekend have fun with your Yugo 650N

gscott, why dont you give it a rest, your grasping at straws. the missing parts your talking about are 1 person i saw had 2 missing linkage rods and a few links. some people had a little trouble getting shims in, it took me like 2 minutes. one guy said he broke links, doesnt sound like a MAJOR qc issue lol. on the other hand i see alot of missing aurora parts and every swashplate has slop ect, now who took 2 years to come to market? for as few issues that it has and as fast as it came out i would think the 700 is a big success, i see your just a hater so i will leave you to your whining and complaining about align. have fun with your sloppy overpriced hyped up "affordable hardcore with style" helicopter.

Sloppy. Now thats funny coming from anyone who flies Align helis. And it's more than one person that had missing parts and at least 2 who broke links during flights. I have owned and flown every Align heli out there except the 700 along with every other major brand heli so at least I have experience with the way they build, fly, and their quality. Hate to break it to you but the 600n is not the best flying or cheapest 50 out there. From all reports the 700n flies like a big 600 so no thanks. We'll see which one is cheaper in the end when all the needed upgrades start popping up for the 700 just like they did for the 600.

whats so funny i have more than 200 flights on my 600 with no slop, and it seems most of you align haters have a 600 as well, so tell me your raptor flies better? and if it doesnt fly good, than why do some many people have them lol. the aurora will not sell near the numbers the 700 will, we all know that. on yeah, i didnt have 1 problem putting my 600 or 700 together. it seems there is alot more to putting an aurora together, sand this, resize that, if you got all the parts lol.

j5coat, go peddle your "Align stuff is better" BS in the Align forum.
Not here.

You're an Align field rep, and bashing other brands is just a little unprofessional.

Who cares if the Aurora doesn't sell as much as the 700. I hate to break it to you but I don't fly a Raptor. Both of my 600n's were sold last summer and replaced with a Knight 3D. It outflew the 600n by a wide margin (tracked better, just as light, and a flip/roll rate that a 600n couldn't match even with Stubz paddles). The Knight has since been replaced with a Vibe 50. Both fly better than either 600n (Pro and standard) and are both cheaper to crash than a 600n. Yes that's right, a Vibe 50 is cheaper to crash than a 600n. I've experienced Align quality and customer service first hand so you can label me a hater all you want at least it comes from experience and not from what a bunch of 2 gallon experts post online.

So j5coat is a rep. That's priceless. At least my opinions are based on my own experience and not influenced by who is paying me

j5coat.

there isn't a 600n in existance that doesn't have slop and certainly not one with 200 flights with no slop. i have a 600 and it's not my favourite heli. i did have a vibe 50 and it did fly better but it's not a better basher (which is why i sold it). the align 600 is a good heli but i highly doubt anything align make is close to the quality of the aurora. as i said earlier however i waited 3 weeks from my order till i had my kit. the aurora i gave up after a few months (which turned into years). if align also had the same length of time then perhaps they would have that quality. (btw from what i'm reading both the 700 and the aurora could do with a little better qc)

cheers

It's all about marketing. Again who cares. If they are so great perhaps you can explain to me why people can't even give their 600n's away in the classifieds.

Gscott you are a joke

You are a joke I must say. You cant out fly the 600 or the 700 now can you??? I think not. you cant out fly a raptor ether so why is performance so important to you???? I see so many post where guys are tired of building there avant now because of waiting on parts and this and that and fixing here. it sounds like this is about the worst heli ever to hit. I don't remember any heli out there having this many problems. And as for the 700 its already upgraded so no need to buy any upgrades. Its full tilt already. It dose not fly like a 600 at all. that is just from some other haters. It tracks so well its insane. You are a joke and the avant is probably your 1st heli and scarred to say it. and the vibe 50 is not less to fix in a crash. in there done that. Nice try.LOL OH and as for AvantRC for fixing the parts quick I would to after all the lawsuit scares he had. I would be trying to kiss every ones as$ to make up for it. I know If I was him I would be trying to kiss but as well after all teh excuses he made for it not coming out and now all the problems he is having and all of them are quality issues. One guy had some links break off his 700. other's just don't know what shim to use. there are 4 in the kit. I had no problems. I did it in 2 seconds once I saw what size shim I needed. No big deal. its not that it don't fit its more the one trying to fit it dose not know what size to use. So Hate hate hate While I fly fly fly and you wait.LOL
