Avant Aurora - EFX - FX > Making the switch to an Aurora, but still keeping the 700N...

After building a friends Avant Aurora I am thinking about going with an Aurora as well..The 700N is a very simple and nice layout but I was blown away by the build and quality of the Aurora as well as its looks....If it flies anything like my vibe 50, I will be extremely happy..

I'm building mine now and it is pretty impressive. Personally I looked at the 700n because of the parts prices. Honestly it's not much bigger than the 600n and alot smaller than the Aurora. If I'm going to pay the fuel costs to fly a 90 I want a 90 not just a scaled up 50. I would make the switch now if you are serious. The 700n is still hard to find so you'll get the best price for it now versus a few months from now.

I just built a 700 for a friend and I own an Aurora , the 700 is a nice simple machine but it's like a big 50 , The Aurora wins in the quality dept. by far.

The Aurora is the quickest flipping bird I have flown. I even love it more using V Blades over Radix. The V's make it even more insane!

The Aurora is the lightest (feeling) bird I have flown as well.

I bet some dumbass named louk05 would. It seems the 700 is not only the highest quality heli ever made I think it performs other "tasks" for him as well I even hear he sleeps with it at night.

GScott--I dont think Louk05 is going to change his opinion..To each his own..Fly what you want..It is sometimes tough to tell someone their machine is not the best..If they own it then it has to be the best..There is no "Best" 90 out there but their are better than others...

I would say

Gscoot only wished he had a 700 kit. It is the lightest 90 out there and as for size its the same size. The canopy fools fools like you.LOL Its bigger that is it. Look at all the pics you can and see the 710 blades do not even come close to the tail. I have shown you this already but a hard head like you would have no idea. I do plan on getting a Avant as soon as they fix the crap that is wrong with it in another 2 years. I thought this is what was taking so long to begin with??? I guess not.LOL

louk05,

What are you 12? Does mommy know you are on the computer? You seem to have missed the point that I could have purchased any 90 I wanted. I may end up with a 700 someday but I sure as hell want make it out to be something it's not...high quality. Nothing Align makes is and anyone who thinks they do needs more experience. You still can't seem to answer the difference between aircraft grade aluminum and cast aluminum parts.

How about strength. Why do you think Dave Yost coined the term "Walmart bling" for Align's aluminum. Most of it is cast and then dipped. Personally I would rather have parts machined from solid blocks of aluminum vs cast out of a mold. It was in reference to louk05's continued posts about how the Aurora was crap and the quality of the 700 was so much better.

the 700 is solid air craft aluminum. and only the tail of the avant is so wow big deal.

Its not like its the best metal out there as they both use it. and only small parts are made of a mold. most of it is crafted as well. If the aircraft Alum is the best thing about the avant (as you say ) then boy its not worth it. Thanks a lot good day And dam your right your mom did catch me on the PC again talking to you.LOL
