Hi Guys,
I have a Hatori sb10 muffler on my 60, I have in the past used teflon tape between the clamp & muffler body. It always ends up coming out, so my question is, can I mount it up without anything in between? Also,
If anyone has one of these mufflers they would like to sell, I want to buy another one.

I used the original Aluminum clamp with nothing under it until the bolt holes on the clamp started to crack. Then I fabricated a new clamp out of .032 SS and don't anything, no problem It has been of for about 40 gal or so.
