Hey guys, Im putting together my first T-rex 450 se v2 and the only thing im still debating on is the gyro. Ive heard the 401 is easy to set up and does the job but the 770 is a better gyro in itself but is hard to set up and the tail snaps in a 450.

I was wondering what you guys are using and what you think about each.

thanks

Everyone I know with a 450 is using a 401 gyro. They are more than easy to setup and hold the tail perfectly.

I even use a 401 on my 600N and the tail is rock solid.

No complaints for the 401 here!

What he means is that 401 moving piro will whip in the opposite direction. For example, if you are moving right and doing piro at the same time, it will whip around when the tail in sping towards left until starts to spin in the same direction as heli (right).

This is a problem when you are doing a piro funnel. But for your first heli, 401 should be fine.

I used to have that tail whipping problem on the 401 on my 600e. All I had to do to fix that problem was to get 95mm tail blades.
