Installed a new hyper in my Raptor 50. The engine came with a washer that goes on the end of the crankshaft. I think its original purpose is to keep the drive hub (for a propeller) off the front bearing. Well, After I got everything buttoned up, there it is on the bench. Should I have put it between the front bearing and the fan?

No,you don't need it with a Raptor.

I will second that...
What will happen is it will raise the fan hub with the clutch on it up to a point it will possibly grind on the inside of the clutch bell housing.... the crash will follow soon after!
So now you know why!

Some helicopters require the washer for proper spacing of the fan hub and clutch stack.

The Raptor does not, you did it right.

Thanks for the reply folks, had a "senior moment" and couldn't remember plus it's been 2 years since I had the fan off the engine. Now to go break this sucker in.
