Hi all,

i have an issue with my canopy !
i made all the cut-out,and now when i set it in place on the canopy studs,the right side inside the canopy touch the maingear !!
the canopy is like twisted just here against the maingear,the left side is ok with enough room.

Any tips and tricks !
may i use a heat gun to deform the fiberglas a little bit?

Hi lionel

I have just checked my clearence between maingear/canopy
and that`s close to 10 millimeters on both sides.

Have you checked that the twist is not causede by the canopy
touching the tank, ( in case you got a rearward facing engien )
the front ladder support or else ware on the heli.
Can you post a picture of just the canopy ?

..it may sound silly but did you put the correct canopy standoffs in the right places.. front and back lengths different

I have the exact same problem with my canopy hitting the right side of the main gear. I'll have to look at the standoffs again when I get home.

Mine did the same thing, it was warped slightly. If I gave it a twist while tightening the screws, it wouldn't rub.

I had the same problem. The right side was rubbing the maingear. I fixed it by heating up the canopy slightly with a hair blower. Hopefully it will hold.

Hi,all

i'm not the only one !!
about the standoff,the rear one are hexagonal,the front one rounded and longer,Am i right?

canopy doesn't touching the little 8oz fuel tank or something else in the frame (no engine yet in the frame) cutout are wider than as per the manual
i need a longer right standoff and it will be ok,but don't like this way,i will try the "heating up " technique,hope it will fix it ?!
