If you look in the rrTV-video, there's an interview with Matt, where they ask what he's working on. He mentioned the SE parts were done, and that he can't talk about what they're currently working on.

It's probably an NDA sort of thing, which means we're not likely to hear anything until Synergy (the company) is ready to announce it.

They should announce it now, then make us wait 3 years.

They are going the right way about it that's for sure.
I'm sure they'll let us know closer to the release date.

Chris,

Why don't you just wait three days and ask them in person when you get to Snohomish. It is not likely that you'll see a response from either of them here anyways.

I guess it's not as much of a response from them I'm looking for, But to get everyone to respond to show how much interest there is.

Why do you care, it's not like you fly your Synergy anyways. HEHE

Well,

I received some good info from them on this subject, at the Snohomish Funfly this last weekend. Save your pennies.

He said, that they have the drawings done and are doing market analysis for pricing.

Market analysis??

XXX for!!??

CHEAP XXXXXXXX! CHEAP!!

While they're at it, N9 kits & parts prices need to reduce too.
T700 is very tempting due to it's pricing.

I haven't decked the N9 in 18 months or so, so I'm due for a reality check

I hate to say it but repair costs will decide if I buy a T700 or not.

Myself, I would not consider putting "cheap" anywhere near the top of my list. As the old adage in the computer world goes, it's basically "good, fast, cheap - pick any two" . . . so if all you focus on is cheap, what are you willing to give up to get it? Quality? - We have Align for that . . . Flight performance? There are a lot of lesser brands that do that . . . Myself, I want the best quality, best flying model I can get, and the best price point it can be done for, but if it truly is better than the rest, I expect it to cost more than the rest . . . hands down! Now having said that, I don't expect to be gouged either, but that is typically not the case . . . there are very few models that I have seen on the market that are not at least close to being worth what they cost . . .

The cheap Align spares don't impress me all that much. What good is it to have cheap shafts and booms if you are replacing frames and electronics. I've seen more than a few $400+ 600n crashes to know the 700n will end up being no cheaper than most other 90's out there. All you need to do is break the frames and bottom plate and you are already over $150 for those 3 parts alone.

I prefer quality over cheap pricing. I did not hop onto the Align band waggon. I am looking forward to seeing this new heli. I also hope that they release a SE kit. So you do not have to buy it all separate.

Funny that this turned into an Align thread.

I merely meant to price it accordingly taking all aspects of the model into account.

I understand that quality comes at a price, (I'm a proud N9 owner) it just needs to be reasonable.

Well, since Align is pretty much the major force in the market right now with the 700N now winning 3D Masters at the hands of Lucas, I think that people will use their performance/prices to judge others by, just my opinion.

with the 700N now winning 3D Masters at the hands of Lucas,

Note that was pretty much only because Dominik Hagle had his muffler come off . . . otherwise, Hirobo probably would have owned Align . . . yet again . . .

Winning due to someone else's mechanical failure is hardly something to trumpet . . . but then again, even coming in 2nd, Lucas *does* have a lot to be proud of . . .
