Here is a question? I was searching someones Classified Activity on their screen name and all ( i think) of the classified add he places are 100% gone. The add starts(i think) with the first post from a member.

Can a member delete the post? or is it done from RR. This member is having a problem with a sale and i was looking in to it my self and found that all of the topics started by him are deleted.

Any one have any idea in this

If a member can delete the post, i think that is wrong. I don't think a member should be Abel to delete the entire post, close the topic OK but not delete it entirely. It makes it hard to see what is going on.

A member can only edit a post, not delete it.

A post is deleted either because the server crashed and was restored from a backup so any interim posts would be lost OR Mark got rid of it.

I have sold a few times here. After the sale is complete and the new owner is happy, I will go back and delete the sale post. I see no reason to leave a record here of what I have sold.

Edit. Delete was the wrong word for me to use. I edit the content of the post, not delete the post entirely.

RR classifieds succeeds because it is self moderated based on post history and member feedback. RR does remove classified topics.
