Gasser Model RC Helicopters > Changing Blade Shaft on XCell Gas

I am trying to change the blade shaft on my XCell gas. I removed one of the screws that keep one of the blade holders in place but I couldn't remove the blade holder itself, it seems to be stuck. I don´t want to damage the internal ball bearings while trying to remove the blade holder. Any suggestions?

Thanks,

Alberto J. Elizondo.

I was stuck in the same situation, thread the screw that you removed a few threads then use a rubber hammer on it, you have to be a carfull, I used some alcohol to clean the bearing befor removing it helps, or you can buy the tool from MA.

Hammer, no!

Thread the screw part way back into the axle. Put an allen wrench through the blade bolt hole. Pry with a screwdriver between the axle bolt and the allen wrench and the blade grip will pop loose. Remove the allen screw, remove the axle screw and pull off the blade grip.
