I hope that some one may be able to help me decide between my 2 helicopters. I have a raptor 30 and I have just purchased a Trex 600 nitro super pro. I would like to know if it would be better to get rid of the Raptor and put all the electronics on to the Trex, or to keep both and buy more electronics.

It's always good to have a spare heli and if it was a raptor 50 I would have said keep both but being a 30 it's not really worth it especially if you have to buy all new electronics for the 600. Depends how flush with cash you are as you could always use this as a chance to buy better electronics for you 600 bit by bit while still flying the 30.

I dont think you will want anything to do with the Raptor 30 after flying the NSP. I would sell it. With the money from the Raptor buy a better gyro or something for the NSP.

Keep it, that way when things break on the 600 you still have osmething to fly. No sense in getting rid of it, Raptor 30s aren't worth anything anymore.

Thanks for the advice. The thing is that I do not have a lot of money for new electronics. That is why I need to decide which one to keep. Although I do still have a Sanwa RD6000 radio with servos and a CSM560 gyro.

I agree that it's a good idea to have a spare Heli.

you probably wouldnt get enough cash out of the raptor to fully outfit the 600 the way you should. Keep it and use it for fun, or set it up on a buddy box and train new heli addicts.

If your question is wether to keep the raptor or the NSP, Then that is a no brainer. The NSP is 10 times the bird and up to date in the heli world. Sell the Raptor. Buy spare parts with the money for the NSP for when you do wreck. You stated you dont have alot of money, the more helis you have is like having more mouths to feed. Trust me, after flying the NSP you will not want the raptor 30. I was in the exact same situation with the same models. The raptor 30 is a thing of the past. Sell it while you still can.
