Hi, is it normal that the coupler on the top of engine can move up and down with a 1~1.5mm displacement for GSR260??

The engine's sound go up and down at low head speed (~800rpm) and become smooth at >1,100rpm. Is it normal? Adjusting the high/low speed needle will help??

Engine coupler play

Hmmm think maybe a bearing has given way or the hex starter on top has bluntened the grub screw. I dont have any play in mine. Wish I could help more....
