I just received my Aurora and have a question regarding the fan hub. What if any mods need to be made in order to fit the fan to the YS91SR?
Thanks

I didn't mod the fan hub any... I just used a good amount of triflow and used the MA fan installer to tighten it down using a crank case lock..

DO NOT USE THE PISTON LOCK it will mess up the piston.

I know other's have used dishwashing soap also as a lubricant while retapping the hub with the crankshaft.

Apparently the hub has been threaded for the OS? Is it an easy job for the re-thread using the crank?

yeah the threads are so close it just takes alittle elbow... but don't go to fast. what you can do is put some old screws in the top of the fan hub where the clutch mounts and use a screwdriver as leverage to help screw it on. but make sure your using the crank case lock.

Use a crank lock. It will not damage the engine.
