well, i know i'm a little late to the party ... i've had this thing for 18 months bur i've finally got it built

and man oh man is it smooth ... i mean 101% vibe free

this thing just purrs like a kitten

i run 4s 2500 with a Kora 15-10 motor and wood blades - maybe 2000 ish rpm... set up for mild ... i'm a rank amateur here

i used T Morita's suggestion of a hula-hoop as a safety gear and that is an excellent idea! - already saved the main blades

my mains tracked perfectly right off the bench - i spent a long time setting it up and balancing everything with a 100th gramme scale ... it paid off - this thing is so smooth

first flights confirm a tendency to drift to the right - i'll have to muck about with the gyro Logictech 2100 --

but so far so good

im very happy

That is awsome bigbird. The EP8 is in a class of its own. Keep us posted on your progress...

thanks Jimbo!

this thing floats like a big soap bubble in the air - it just sits there
and then drifts to where you point it - magic

i can't get over how smooth and quiet it is

further flights this weekend weather permitting
