What a great funfly!

We just got to the house. Talking on the way home we both agreed this was a unique type of event. It incorporated a few fun for all contests, some VERY friendly folks running the show and a truly awesome group of pilots to both learn from and teach a bit to. This event was one of our favorite last year and once again this year I have to say that the people and atmosphere of this funfly made it!

It was great to see some friends we typically only see at events as well as a few we get to see a bit more regularly. We even got to sing "happy birthday" to the birthday boy! Happy birthday again Jamie!

And how about tht Ron Wedel Guy!?!?? That dude can really LAY IT DOWN!!! His noon demo was off the chain. I really hope somebody posts a video here. I really enjoyed the "no look" auto, even if he did peek once or twice.

I was also really impressed with Scott Milton's show after dark. Scott I had no idea you could fly like that!!! It looked like the night flying contest at IRCHA! You were rockin it man!!

Anyway, Dylan and I had a great time and we appreciated all of the hospitality by the folks from ARCA. My hats off, you guys put on a top notch event!!!

I have the video of Rockin' Ron's noontime demo. I should be able to get it posted shortly. By far one of the most impressive demos I've seen, especially when you consider his five years away from the sticks.

It really was a fun time! I did a LOT more flying than I thought I would, burning through nearly a full gallon in my lowly little Century Hawk Pro and at least eight packs on my Century Swift.

The drag race was a BLAST, my first time entering anything like that. Even though my Swift got its butt handed to it in the second round by a Trex 600n, it was still tremendous fun.

Jay, thanks for sharing a table with me, and I can't wait to hear how Dylan likes that G5. I tell ya, after flying Jeremy's it gave me the "I wants" and I swore I was done with mini helis!

Hope to see all you guys again next year! Maybe we'll get some rain and Creighton will have grass to cut instead of just plowing up dirt with his heli!

Arca has never really been a big one but its always been fun and this year was no exception. I really believe the people that came to this event are the best this hobby has to offer. I had lots of fun! Everyone had jokes! I learned a bit and the flying was great.

Thanks Jim and Jamie for coming down. What a show I must say! Wow!! Jamie, how do you do that stuff?

Ron, man your good! Another 5 years and you will be smokin hot

Dylan, dude your looking really good with that 700! Your flying keeps getting tighter and tighter and tighter. Nerves of steel comes to mind. And two thumbs up for the pit side antics Well what can I say, I have not laughed that hard in a long time. Jay, you handled that like a trooper

creighton put some really impressive stick time in, man I swore them blades dissapeared once or twice in the dirt

I even got to see to some vertical drag racing with Joe D

Scott Milton, man keep up the hard work, best night flying I have ever seen you do

I had a really good time.
Hats off to everyone involved.

Kenny
