What do I need to adjust to make the rudder more sensative to my inputs? I am looking to get more action with less stick movement.

GY401 My DR is 100% and 0% Expo 76% gain 9257 servo

Do I use expo to do this?

I am guessing that I am asking how to increase piro rate? Correct?

Thanks guys!

You increase the piro rate by increasing the numbers in your ATV on the RUDDER channel.......

PS-- Take a look in your operator's manual....it explains things in more detail.....

You can use negative expo (jr/spektrum) or positive expo (futaba)

or increase the end points.

Thanks guys, I'll look at the manual again also.

Yeah, that was meant to be 76% gain

Just be aware.......

That adjusting the gain will not give you a higher piro rate......I believe that's what you're after.....

Go to your RUDDER ATV and adjust for higher or lower piro rate by adjusting those percentages......

Gotcha'! I was pretty sure that adjusting gain wouldn't change it.

Thanks for the help!

Will RUDDER ATV also make the tail more resposive to my inputs? That is what I am mostly interested in doing is less stick input for more spin.

I was going to use expo to do this, but figured there was a more linear way to do so.

Yes, higher rudder endpoints should give you faster spin with less rudder input. Keep in mind, your overall piro rate (piros per second) will increase too when changing the rudder endpoints.

Not that it applies to your original question but less gain, on the 401 WILL result in increased piro rate.

That's also good to know Barracuda. I had no idea that it would work like that.

Funky, still waiting for my Logo 400 to put that 9254 to use

That's what it was. ATV was at 90 and I bumped it up to 125 and it flies great!
