Radio - Servo - Gyro - Gov - Batt > Help! Where's the crankpin sensor?

I've SEARCHED RR & HF, I've looked through all my magazines (most anyway) and can't remember where I saw that new governor sensor that mounts to the backplate and keys off of the crankpin. Who makes it?

Thank you!

Thats part of the new Spektrum AR7100R with a Rev Limiter built into the receiever.

The sensor & bracket will be available seperately.. I wonder of these will work with my RevMax?

"El Dooderino" if you're not into the whole brevity thing.

Thank you! Yeah, I'd like to use it on a MultiGov.

Is it me, or does it seem like the radio guys are taking a page from the cellphone book? Pretty soon we'll have a camera and calendar incorporated into our receivers

This will be a real neat item when it's finally available in quantity to the general public (at least those of us who don't rush out to buy the entire receiver).

But, having seen one, I have a suggestion for the Spektrum people -- the plastic body -- at least the two mouting tabs -- are going to be a serious pain for you and us, as the plastic is easily fractured and will most likely fatigue quickly and break.

Good point - I would want to be able to apply even torque on all four backplate bolts, and I'm not sure that plastic tabs would be the best solution.

I dont know what plastic material Spectrum uses but I have one and it is flexible and has not failed yet . I was Leary at first but it works great also mounting with two bolts doesnt seem to effect motor at all.

I dont know how to fly just how to not crash !!!!!

It is reported to work with the multi-gov and one other that I forget about. I think (and I could be wrong) that it will work with most govs except the gv-1.

I've seen one that's been mounted and removed, and the plastic around the two mounting holes is fractured and crazed.
