Even though this is a heli forum , i feel there should a slot for planks.
Maybe Mark has a vision of this place expanding to cars boats and trains. It would still be helis but so many of us made transitions from one to another.Besides it would increase the AD revenues.

I fly jets! BVM F4-E Phantom, BVM Bobcat XL, BVM Bandit, and a BVM F-100F all powered by JetCat Turbines. (OH yeah.... I'm a JetCat rep too.) I will be stepping up to a Turbine heli before too long. I fly the helis to help make me a better stick on the jets, but also just because I like helis. I like boats, and cars too.

I too must confess to being a closet planker. I started because my son wanted to do planes, not helis (maybe someday that will change). We have 3-40 size and a %30 AeroWorks Edge.

Flying planes is a change of pace, not nearly as stressful to me, but not nearly as rewarding. I envy the guys who can do the "3D" airplane stuff, it ain't as easy as it looks, even if you can 3D helis.

I have two helicopters.

I have ready to fly right now:

Hobbico Spectrum with a YS .63
Global Lucky stick with a ST .45
Global Ultimate with a Magnum .46
Estes Sky Ranger
Wattage Lite stick
Foamie 757 with two EDF 50's
"OLD" Wright Flyer 40 with O.S. FP40
Goldberg Cud with K&B .65
Tower Trainer 60 ASP .61
Pilot Pitts S2A with Ported/polished Magnum .15
Sig Wonder with O.S. 15

With a little work as in a radio engine I can get a couple more planes in the air.
