Went to the 6mm feathering spindal and ever since Im getting a pretty bad vibration when comin' in for a landing and unloading the head. It lasts for about 5sec. The blades are going nuts. Most likley has to do with the new feathering shaft. I noticed that it is VERY hard to get it thru the dampers (red). In fact as it comes thru the other side the damper pops out and I have to work hard to get it back in. Noticed Century only sells one size for either feathering shaft. Tried differant Fshafts, lubed em up good with triflow, Just cant seem to get it to go away. Comments please.

Did you change anything in the radio. Sounds kind of like the blade overspeed after it unloads. Otherwise, you can try reaming the dampers out.

NOthing eles changed. Did go to the red dampers at the same time. I was considering dresssing the Fshaft till it at least go in to the dampers w/o excessive force.

Do a test, take the red dampers out and put the black
one's back in and do a test flight.
Check for that vibration,If it still does it, I remember you
said you crash that heli a ways back I think. Check the upper
main bearing for movement. That may cause that kind of vibration
as well. Hope this helps you.

Enjoy the hobby.

Thanks fro the effort guys, this thread is a week or so old, Ive worked thru the problems. BTW went to the blacks and it went away. Alos reamed a red set just a tad, no issues. Then lubed the heck outa a red set and all is well. Bad crash since then, sorry to say, she'll be up next week. New servos, better gyro, metal swash, just better than ever.

If the red dampers are to tight and the feathering shaft is not able to move freely in the head it will not allow the shaft to center up properly.

If it doesn't fly sell it!
