Does anyone else keep breaking the flybar links? They not only break, but they keep flying off too. I've already changed my swashplate thinking maybe it was bad but that didn't help. Any ideas? Can you make anything else work in place of them?

Thanks

Tag,

Are you talking about the ring-like push-rods that connect the flybar to the rotor head?...as illustrated below

Hi Racin
No, The other ones that go from the swash to the flybar. Not a clue why I keep breaking these. The other ones are holding up just fine.

OK...I see..you are talking about the links that connect the paddle control frame (outer) to the swashplate. You are also probably experiencing the swashplate separating, as well? What usually causes the tension in the links is that the swashplate is sitting too low on the main shaft. The paddle control frame is at a fixed position on top of the main shaft and can't be moved; therefore, the only way to reduce the tension in the links is to raise the swashplate. Of course, in order to raise the swashplate, you'll be lengthening the two servo push-rods.
