Anyone know why they keeping getting delayed for release?
Tower said last week they were on order this week they are coming late July. I wonder whats going on? I am bummed cause I stole my 56's out of the Trex and stuck them in a foamy anticipating the release of the 5065MG's. I got tired of constantly rebuilding them so after the last rebuild they got pulled. I don't want to spend the money on 65MG's just to have the digitals come out a month later.

Ahh, decisions.

If you look at the listing of servos, they aren't there. But if you search for HS-5065 they are. But the listing still says they are coming April 2008.

I talked to Hitec at Toledo and they said they had NO idea when they might become available.

I talked to hitec on the phone a couple of months ago about this servo and their website. They told me that the website was changed over to a new system that is why everything isn't quite right yet until their guy finds it all. The woman told me on the phone that she believes the servos will be out around August.

Man, I miss the eighties.

I've been waiting for them for a year. I even called HiTec(USA) and asked to speak with a technician rather than a salesperson.

Even he couldn't explain what the delay was due to. And that was in late summer of 2007.

Let's hope that the person you talked to is correct.

It's very strange that Hitec wouldn't list their lastest digital micro servo on their website in a very prominent location, rather than us having to hunt for it.

please elaborate on their performance difference over the standard 65MGs... i've been wanting the digitals for a long time but am curious to hear impressions before i drop 140 bucks on a set. I was hoping for something quicker in flight, but most importantly, more accurate with MUCH better centering than the 65s.
