No bleach is not strong enough to remove the purple anodizing on the Esky CNC head. It dulled it but that stuff is pretty tough.

Never thought Id be removing the purple stuff.

Guess I'll wait and get oven cleaner.

Try using some strong Oven cleaners. They're anodized I think. Need good acid to remove them. I done it before on Auto parts before. I forgot what brand I used those. Picked it up a local appliance store.

Thats what I was gonna do I just though that being Esky it was probably just aerosol spray on anodized paint and would easily come off seems I was wrong it may be a true anodizing process.

Try EASY OFF oven cleaner, I think you will like it. Put it in for about 25 min. and check, if not all gone repeat...

wow 25min? maybe the 3 min i gave the bleach was too quick it started to fade it. But I was looking for a quick dip and wipe off cleaner. I hate to pit the aluminum leaving it in to long but Im gonna paint it with black primer for scale fuselage anyway.

Be careful with the time.

Under the Anodizing the parts are Aluminum.

There is a reason is says "Don't spray on Aluminum" on the back of the Easy Off can, it eats Aluminum.
