| It has been done, but it is difficult to get the correct gearing to exploit the deisels torque at the right revs, plus cooling can sometimes be a problem. The fuel is very messy and does smell a bit, but if you like tinkering it is a good fun project. I love my diesels but I prefer a glow engine for heli's, other than that I am slowly turning myself around to electrics.
