Wow. So I finally broke down and purchased Phoenix. Those guys sure are great. They shipped it on the 7th, and I got it this morning. It was perfect, got it today and it was all muggy and rainy out. It was in Great Britain as of yesterday and the expected delivery date said today. I thought to myself "no way that's going to happen" and sure enough Fedex came through! Got it up and running, still figuring a few things out and it is soo much fun. Did my first few autos. Still not that great but not that bad either. It is so realistic and flight characteristics are very very similar. It was certainly worth $150. WOW.

I had the same experience with shipping and I was blown away. They even showed up at the same hour the ETA said!

Great sim and I like the free downloads of aircraft from their site

Phoenix is a godsend for old(ish) gits like myself who are overworked and don't have time to get to the field in daylight hours. My ONLY complaint is the latency in multiplayer. Apart from that, it's the mutts gonads.

Yup check out the Phoenix-sim.com/ website. They have a list of all the different radios that will work, whether it works with the supplied adaptor or not. It is great and thanks guys for all the posts before regarding sim. I finally bucked up and got it and chose very wisely.

I can't wait until they come out with some new flying sites to try out.

If the wings are traveling faster than the fuselage, it's probably a helicopter.

That's right. It wasn't raining yet but they were calling for it. You are correct about the work part. I only work midnights on the weekend and 3-11 shift in the beginning of the week. The rest of my time is either spent on here, school or studying.

I own both and Phoenix blows Reflex away. Once I got Phoenix I stopped using XTR.
