I have built many helicopters and this was the smoothest . After building and setup according to manual most need some tweaking all I needed to do was track tail and give 1 turn shorter on Ail & Pit rods to swash.I did make mount for gyro sensor to get good CG .
Look at gallery for more pictures.

Protects the landing gear when taking off/landing from asphalt and still allows the heli to slide without tipping over (as opposed with rubber skid stoppers). Common practice.

Can I ask why you moved the gyro to the back? I would think that most would prefer it inside away from the exhaust and protected by the canopy.

He said he moved it for balancing purposes.

Ah, I missed that. Thanks. I would have done something else to balance and kept the 611 safe and inside.

The Vibe 50 is inherently tail heavy, moving anything to the rear of the machine simply makes it even more tail heavy.

I have changed metal supports to carbon and removed the horizontal fin to save weight in the back. With the canopy in place and a 1/2 tank of fuel the heli almost balances dead on with everything up front.

I had to add some led weights to the nose in order to get mine to balance out. With a full tank its slightly tail heavy.

If you have a vibe on your vibe check gear mesh on main and tail drive gear this will cause a vibe in tail also check run out in fan and clutch , as far as mount for gyro I have 8717s all the way around and they are heavy also painted canopy adds weight to front . Heli is 8.5 lbs with fuel my raptor is 7 lbs using same electronics and power plant . I used frame spacers from R90 and cut to size and re tapped threads to mount to frame and trimed carbon fiber plate to fit and screwed to flat side of spacers

8.5lbs for a Vibe 50 and 7lbs for a Raptor 50?

Not sure what your doing with the Vibe but if it's 8.5lbs you got way to much of something on there.

Having extensive expereience with the Raptor 50, I assue you it's not 7lbs, more like just under 8lbs.
