In these fuel crisis we're in (at least me), is it a good idea to mix 15% powermaster with 30% powermaster?

Thats still a high mix , you could get away with running 15% save some money and get some 0% nitro fuel and mix that with your 30%

I mixed some 10% with 20% last week .

I have mixed 30 and 15 you get about 22%. I was mixing cool power and green and red make UGLY color, other than that didn't have any issues.

I am mixing 15% and 30% Cool Power.

Someone here on RR, seems to have coined the term swampwater for the mix. Very appropriate, IMO.

Mixing fuels of the same mfg is for the most part a safe endeavor. I've done it often. DO NOT mix fuels from different mfgs. I absolutely have seen fuel form a weird precipitate after a plant flyer at our club tried that. YMMV, but it's not worth potentially ruining two gallons of fuel.

I would suggest testing mixing two different brands. Mix up a cup of each, before risking gallons.

Thanks. It's just an idea I had to make the fuel last longer. My LHS is supposed to get some Powermaster fuel in tomorrow....but I don't believe it will happen...
