e-Electric General Discussion > Kyosho Concept EP: head question

I've dug out an electric heli I bought a few years ago but not really tried out.

I'm just wondering: the flybar doesn't see-saw as freely as it does on my Shuttle (on the Shuttle, I can tap it down, and it'll bounce back and rock over to the other side, bounce, and then stop).

On my Kyosho, it seems a bit firm. I've tried freeing up the ball-links but they seem OK now - is it normal that I don't get much freedom that it'll rock on it's own?

SECOND: The blades are a bit buckled - can anyone tell me what I need to ask for for replacement blades? (or are there different types and you need me to get some measurements first?)

Get either the Kyosho (part number EH-123) FRP 405mm or ModelSport 395mm Carbon Fiber(better). Do not under any circumstance buy the stock original equipment foam filled blades(EH-015). Tower has the EH-123 on backorder and Fitz has the MS CF blades on backorder(http://www.fxaeromodels.com/blades.htm)

Thanks Boyd.

Just to clarify: what's wrong with the stock Kyosho blades (EH-015)?

If you can get them to track and stay tracked, you may be the first on planet Earth. I think there is just too much built-in flex in the stock blades. It's a well documented problem on these forums.
